Autumn Scruggs
Autumn's career began in 1997, when she served as a 911 dispatcher for nine years with the Kentucky State Police. After nearly a decade on the headset, She transitioned into an administrative role within a specialized drug enforcement section of the Kentucky State Police. For the next 11 years, she worked behind the scenes, supporting drug enforcement efforts across the state. In 2019, Autumn accepted a position as Discovery Coordinator at the Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. As Discovery Coordinator, she was responsible for compiling, managing, and distributing case materials to defense counsel, ensuring full legal compliance in the felony prosecution process. In May of 2023, after 27 years of dedicated service, Autumn officially retired from her career in public safety and criminal justice. She walked away from full-time work knowing she had given her best to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, but retirement wasn’t the end of the story.
